Postdoctoral Fellow in Machine Learning @ University of Toronto & University of Amsterdam
We are seeking a highly creative and motivated postdoctoral fellow to work jointly with two research groups: Richard Zemel, at the University of Toronto and Max Welling at the University of Amsterdam. The appointment will be at the University of Toronto but the candidate is expected to visit Amsterdam regularly.
The postdoc will be expected to work on the topic of deep learning on knowledge graphs. Potential specific projects include training variational auto-encoders on large graphs and extending recurrent models of learning in graphs, as well as developing applications, such as recommender systems and image question-answering. Other potentially relevant research projects include learning to make fair recommendations.
Applicants should hold a PhD in computer science and are expected to have a strong publication record in major machine learning conferences. Remuneration is competitive and commensurate with skills and track record.

Desired Skills & Experience
